Best Uses:

Bottom Line:

I would not recommend this to a friend. When ever anything starts downloading, it gets to about 3% then suddenly loses connection. The bottom gets very hot, probably the reason for all these problems. Get a better router, it's worth a couple extra dollars.

Product set up easily and worked very well for about a month. Then I lost connection with both the wired and wireless connections. [...] The new one was set up and connected just as well but had brief periods of emitting no wireless signal with in the first hour and soon failed within a week just as the first. [...] I'm ready to chalk this up to a [$]learning experience and buy a Linksys like we use at the fire station.

While I absolutely LOVE my Belkin Bulldog UPS, I will never again purchase Belkin router and adapters. I learned just today that my computer guru has a 2' x 3' box full of 'dead' Belkin routers in his office. I've lost 3 days of work (yes, I use it primarily for home but also to work from home part time).

Insecure, Unreliable
Best Uses:
Home

Started out fine but after about a month of use I had to keep resetting it. Would lose connection and when it had a connection you couldn't stream videos. It would load a portion and then buffer infinitely. Also, to get an email that was anything but text, I had to bypass the router completely and plug directly into the computer's Ethernet port.

I actually have an older verison of this particular device. It worked first time and has continued to work. Recently I moved it to the Girl Scout office I work in. Reset it to factory defaults and it worked perfectly the first try.

Could not get the Belkin router and USB desktop adapter to work, even after repeated calls to Belkin phone support (which is terrible). I would recommend staying away from these products and from Belkin's tech support

Cheap, Warranty, Easy To Set Up, Small
Cons:
Slow, Unreliable
Describe Yourself:
High bandwidth user

I have 100 Mbps link (Comcast. I want to have the flexibility of working from any room and hence bought this). After the router is connected, the speed I got is 50 Mbps and I have to refresh pages 5 times to get it.

It is very very unreliable.

I won't recommend this to an enemy

Will not pick up. Called customer service and they told me that it will pick up about 20 feet. It will only pick up greater distances (400 ft. like the box says) if I have no cell phones, cordless phones or satellite system in the home.
