installation seems ok but continually wants to connect to lower signals. My signal was 89% and it would continually connect and disconnect every 2 seconds and start scanning. I replaced with a [$] card from another manufacturer and it connected right away. After spending endless hours troubleshooting and looking online I have found that these issues are extremely common.
It works OK, but occasianally disconnects for no apparent reason.
Also, the driver disables the WindowsXp "Fast User Switching" feature. Why?
Neither Netgear's webpage nor the manual mention this nor provide a way to enable it. OK for a domain since this feature is not used there.

Netgear Wireless WG311v3 PCI wireless adapter does not install properly under (32bit) Windows Vista even though Netgear claims it is compatible and supplies drivers. WG311 driver fails with the error "code 10" - device could not be started. This appears to be a very common problem.
Note that this applies to the the Netgear WG311v3 which uses a different chipset and drivers than the v2 and v1 version cards. Netgear sells these cards as if they were interchangable although they are not.
Works great with my linksys router. Very easy to choose between networks(if you have multiple). Allows you to choose between networks or gives to option to choose first available network. I have found good uses for both options
