This is such a terrible product!! I bought one from my local pharmacy that still works today and is cheaper than the one I bought at Radio Shack! The plug that comes with the fan has such weak and terrible wiring in it! After one day the plug was shot! And it's too short. It should have an extension that comes with it. I bought this fan for [$]rom Radio Shack, then returned it after one day for another one- same type, bought a retractable extension and put it on the new one and that one didn't even last a month!I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE! THIS PRODUCT IS CHEAPLY MADE AND IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

This product has been a huge step up from the previous product sold in radioshack stores. the previous product didnt have any ventilation for the air to go in and out, so the fans were useless no matter what you did. keeping that in mind this product is a huge step ahead for radioshack (gigaware) and will do what it needs, it actually cools down my laptops temp (alienware) by about 16 degrees. from 96 degrees cels. to about 80. cels. keep in mind that the targus brand sold at [...]for about[$] takes it down to about 72 degrees cels. so i would recommend this item, for 20 bucks it does what it needs to do. and is a match for many of the other more expensive models out there. i give my thumbs up to raduioshack this time, and hope for them to continue this progress, i would recommend to anyone who needs a cheaper set, but i must say its still lacking potential.
