Installed out of the box, the camera performance was dreadful - flicker, random breakup, freeze up.
Downloaded the drivers on the Radio Shack support tab and camera started working correctly. This is on WinVista32 Home Premium.

I use the product at home, on my laptop and my desktop computer. The first con I'd point out is that the clip built in for mounting didn't really fit my monitor, on either my laptop or my flat-panel monitor, however I did get both to stay on the top of the monitor and didn't really cause much of a problem. The camera, however, is excellent clarity, even in low light, exactly what you would expect out of a 2.0 megapixel camera.

I used it on my laptop for quite a while with the software, and just plugged it on my desktop, it found the drivers, installed it, and it worked without ever popping in the CD. The only downside is that the auto-focus, while a step up, isn't exactly fast, and sometimes the camera zooms or blurs a little without the software, because I have everything set on automatic. It's excellent it works without the software, because I lost the CD, and there doesn't seem to be any way to get a replacement. Much like one of the other reviewers, I think the problem with the webcam had much more to do with operator error than any defect in the product. I have recommended this product to others who have purchased it and had no trouble.

I bought the Webcam for Dummies, that didn't work at all, and many people online said the same thing I found out. I bought this product when I returned the first one, and this one works! The only thing is, it works for 4 seconds then stops. The quality isn't bad, but it is choppy and doesn't work on most computers.

The one time I did not do my research first.

The camera has a good picture, even in low light, bit with the resolution set at 640/480 and 30 FPS with their included programs, the video is still very choppy, seems more like 15 FPS or less. Even with lower resolution, it is still a choppy video.

It is being returned.

This product is too easy to set up! I'm surprised so many people were so disappointed in this product. I tend to believe it must be operator error.

I purchased this camera, not really knowing much about the company.I was pleasantly suprised with the images it was able to produce. Very sharp and clear, once the camera adjust to focus. The camera works well, with Windows Vista. I recommend, additional editing software to enhance your photos..especially if you have a poor lit room.

Very poor audio quality, bad in low light, and slow video (about 5 fps on a 2.26Ghz P-4 computer. The Philips webcam (1.3mp) I'm currently using will hit 30 out of its 60 fps with good light levels and hit 10 to 15 with no light except the LED built into it. The audio quality on the Philips is also much better. I'm going to return this one. Didn't even work well on a Core Duo 3.2Ghz Gateway I have as a secondary 'puter.

I'm going to try to return this. It wouldn't even install the drivers on my desktop computer. It installed on my laptop, but the camera freezes within a minute and either camera or software must be reset, sometimes both. It won't even make a good paper weight! (It does take good stills, unfortunately I need video, as will most who will buy this)

I only use it with Skype and it works great. Wish it had an easier zoom function. I got this model because it was made to clip onto my flat screen monitor, but it was made too small. No complaints otherwise.

This is my first web cam so maybe I don't realize how bad it is. Has good picture quality for my requirements. It is plug & play with Windows XP so I am not using the software that came with it.
Thumbs Up!

Installed on 3 different XP pro computers, all with USB 2.0 and worked only on one. Partially. Never got anything better than 640x480, have no idea what they are talking about mentioning 2 megapixels, and it is[$]???!!!! SUCKS !!!! :( Software constantly freezing and saying "camera is not conencted." Skype was barely able to work with this camera, and freezing as well. STAY AWAY!!! No website, no support for it, except few links fron Radiosuck website.
