I have used various headsets for gaming, Skype, internet DJing and voice production (ads). This headset has the best mic quality I've found, even better than the higher priced ones I've used. Other DJs who use Sure microphones have commented on the clarity of my voice and sound while using this one. It's also fairly lightweight and comfortable. The only reason I have not used it exclusively is that it does not have a volume/mute control on the headset itself. This means that I have to adjust the output of my computer... which is not preferable when I need to record at a good volume but get my ears blasted while listening to anything. I'm about to buy another one of these headsets this evening since I gave my last one to a friend in need of a good mic.
Had this headset for 5 years, never had a problem till recently, left earphone went out. I am buying a new one today, GREAT headset !!!!
I have been using this product for over two years. This Headset is perfect for Podcasting and Skype. I have been told by musicians how great my audio is with this Mic.
I have to say that i am generally very critical of products like this, but I find this product to be fine for regular duty. I have used it with my laptop and desktop for Skype calls all over the world. I always ask how well I can be heard and I am told just fine. The price point is good. I have now bought a second one for the wife who used to drive me nuts with the pumping and poor quality from her built-in laptop mic/speaker.

used once & mic was useless as the sound on other end was way too low for the person to hear. also had hard time hearing other person. double checked all of my sound levels on pc, they were all at the correct levels. this item is of the poorest quality i've ever encountered.
I have owned this headset for 2 years and so far I've gotten great sound quality for price. It thus far has been able to handle my taste for blasting music. Its capacity to handle load music, without much sacrifice of quality, exceeds my ear's capacity to handle load music so it meets my expectations.
the left earfone brokje of and i had to souper glue it, and it has hoorrible qaulity.

This worked for my laptop with Vista but not my computer with XP. Otherwise great microphone for a very cheap price. Great sound quality too.
I bought it from NEWARK Stores on my 2nd day at US. Am still using it. I bought bose too, but still i use this guy for chatting... Crystal clear voice quality..

This is the best microphone I've ever bought. The only problem is that it doent work with my computer that has Windows Vista, but it works with my XP, XP Professional, Mac, and Windows 95 very well. I use it for everything you'd need a mic (chatting, recording songs, narrating videos and powerpoints, etc). It is really great and the sound quality from the headphones is EXCELLENT. if it didnt hav the mic attached, i'll use it with my iPod. VERY GOOD BUY!!

Got from Black Friday sale two years ago. Still surprised with its sound quality. Bought for internet phone call, now more on listening music. Sound quality is excellent comparing to other products in the price range.

I am an internet broadcaster and I have used this headset for two years. I have one on every computer in my house. I have suggested them to all of my broadcasting partners, when they find out they cost less than 20 bucks, they're amazed.

I bought this headset about almost two years ago. It's lasted me until about a month ago. About a year into use, the sound quality was pretty good and the microphone worked. After 1.5 years, the left speaker failed, and then the microphone became staticish until it finally became unusable. I should note that it's also a somewhat fragile piece of equipment compared to others of this type of equipment. It's comfort level varies from person to person. For [$], it's not that bad, mainly because it'll survive for at least a year, if not more. Plus it does what its suppose to do fairly well.
yes was really good though it is very sensitive i can hear a lot of other things microphone is really good but picks up a lot of unwanted nosies

It was the best headset ever! But apparently it isn't mother-proof. Mom decided to clean my room while i was off at school...and ended up snapping a cord. I don't know how but his was the best headset i ever owned. Looking for a new pair today =D

This headset is the best i have ever used. For the price its great. they are super comfortable and give good clear sound, also the mic is good. I play counterstrike online and so far this headset is my favorite. Definetly recommend for gamers.
Owned the head set for many years now. Ive had zero problems with them. The Mic works Great. I got a small tear in the cord now. Might buy another pair. Two thumbs up!

I've tried many many headsets with good brand name, high price and ratings but this is actually the MOST COMFORTABLE headset I've tried so far. Because I wear glasses, so a lot of headsets hurt my ears after a hour or two. But this headset, no matter how long I wear it, I never feel any pain. I highly recommend anyone who find other headsets uncomfortable to try this one out.
Comfort-oriented headsets - lightweight and no hassle design - the earcups are soft pliable leather (so much better than the usual foam most companies use) that have endured 2 yrs. of constant use and still look brand new. There is no volume nor mute control but I use those built-in features on Skype and/or my computer's taskbar and headset is so clear and loud, I am often lowering the volume. The only gripe I have is the microphone deteriorates after 2 or 3 yrs and some programs have a difficult time of distinguishing words - and although it still works fine on Skype, other 3rd party programs begin to pick up on this. I am in need of another headset/mic due to a new laptop and I searched [@] site diligently in the hopes that they still made this wonderful little gem. You can't really complain for [$]. I was disappointed to see they were not available online, but a search of local stores revealed I can purchase them in person just a mile away! Yay! So many reviews of more expensive brands complain of pinching and discomfort and unilateral sounds from their binaural units - these have none of those problems.

I use these for gaming online and they work great. For the price you can't beat them. Great performance and incredibly durable. I've since bought two sets. Fellow gamers remark at the voice clarity. So long as these are produced, I'll be purchasing them.

This headset is very reliable. Very cheap. Very effective. I would recommend this headset to anyone because the microphone has great quality and the sound is terrific. The cords are also really long which is good for a desktop. I use these for counterstrike and they work perfectly fine.

First time I used it, I noticed the earphones worked well alone. When I used the microphone, all I got was static behind my voice during application.
I've had this headset for over a year and never had any problems. Good sound quality, and they are very very comfortable. They have lasted longer than many more expesive headsets. I'm buying another set today to go with my new laptop.

Have used these headphones for a year now with no problems. A good value for the money.Very comfortable. Ear cups are starting to crack and will need to be replaced.
have used this brand for 4 yrs now - shame some have experienced mic problems - this one has given me zero problems and I have owned more expensive ones in the past that broke within 6 mos - the cord is super long which is convenient, and the ears are super comfortable even with my glasses on - super lightweight (they weren't kidding) for the price, I would highly recommend.
By far the best mic i have ever used!!! I have owned 3 and have bought several for friends and fellow gamers that cant find a great mic for gaming.Look no more this is it!!!Please keep offering this mic!!!!
For the money, this is the best gaming headset you can buy. It is by far the most comfortable headset for gaming. I can wear it for hours without discomfort. It handles a wide range of sound and the mike is very crisp and clear when using Voip programs. Please, never discontinue this product. Thank you.
I have had these for several months and have rolled over the cord with my chair countless times and also have stood up and they got caught and ripped off my head countless times. And have never had not one single issue with them. I would buy this headset all day long:) if you can get them i would advise it!!!!!!!!!!

I've owned 3 pairs of these. They usually last about a year before they develope a short somewhere along the line, although I do use them a lot.
I've owned 2 pairs of these. Both have worked without fail. The sound quality and the microphone quality both are excellent. Used for gaming as well as DJing over the internet. Never had a problem with them at all! Excellent Radio Shack quality!
First set I got was complete static on the mic. I exchanged for another set immediately. These worked the first week, then developed the same problem. Comfortable and lightweight, speakers work great, but microphone is completely unreliable.
This model was probably the most reliable headset I've ever owned. I don't know how available they are, but hope to buy another pair soon. (I bought my best friend one as a gift after buying my own, and his are still running strong after 2-3 yrs.!)

I discovered that the mic didn't work on the first pair I bought. Everything was hooked up correctly and I even turned up the input volume on my notebook all the way up, and I would get no signal at all. So I got a replacement, second pair, and it still doesn't work. So instead of a multimedia headset I ended up with a mediocre set of headphones... great!

Broke at least 4 of those.. and I got 2 of them with mic working bad at the start.. the mic volume is extremelly low and the wires are weak

I've tried more expensive ones and this one seems to be the most comfortable for me and easy to keep clean. These don't have bare foam ear pads that get gross over time.
I bought 2 pairs, and I don't want to sound like a commercial, but this headset is working flawlessly with my desktop and laptop computers for over 1 1/2 years now. I use it for Dragon NaturallySpeaking, to dictate text, and also for Internet phone calls with Skype. Best thing I've ever used. And I have gone through a lot of headsets ... many of them much, much more expensive than this one. I have also recommended this to several friends, and so far, no one has complained. It works and works and works.
Compared to other headset options out there, this gets 5 straight across the board... I'm a DJ for an internet radio station and this headset is superb!!
The headset works exceptionally for the first month or so, but after a month the left headphone will randomly stop working. This has happened on 3 headsets I've purchased so far and I have no idea what the problem is.
Overall is pretty good. Sound quality is as good as could be expected, never have any real problems except I usually disconnect or mute the mic when theres a lot of noise around. The microphone is best to be used in quiet areas. Overall it's well worth the price.
It does what its meant to do, I play games, and it works great in vent. Its light, and I can wear it for hours without being bothered. Can't complain for the price!
This set does not have a background noise canceling mic.... you hear EVERYTHING around you louder then what you are trying to hear through the headset.
