I purchased this as my first ever headset for gaming. While I doubt it would satisfy true audiophiles, it serves my purposes when I can't use my computer speakers due to feedback. Sound is clear and they have survived considerable abuse (stepped on, cord tripped over, etc). The only negative is that the headset has somewhat sharp edges on the surface that rests against the top of your ear, I had to wrap some masking tape around mine so that on long gaming sessions my ears weren't irritated.

I would buy this again, in fact I am going to go buy a new set to replace my beat up old ones soon.

I have used this headset for 3 years now, and I have not had any problems with it. This is the only headset I've found reliable. The reasons i have bought 3 are... my dog ate the cord, and i stepped on the headset earpiece. Never once had any problems with it, just make sure you put it out of reach of animals and don't step on it :P

I use my headset everyday and yes, at first it does hurt your ear, but after awhile it no longer does. The mic is outstanding!! It does a great job at keeping the background noise to a minimum.

Bought these back in October, and they are still working, and in excellent condition. The sound quality is about the same as any other over-the-ear headphones, and I haven't had the opportunity to try out the microphone yet. The only disadvantage to this product I've found is that the straps over the ears start to hurt if you wear these for a long period of time.

I agree, waste of money

I did use the microphone and the sound quality was great, but the right earpiece fell apart and the wires disconnected one month after I bought it. Now there is sound only in the left ear piece and I have no package to return it.

This product broke two weeks after I bought it. I was changing the colored earpieces and the whole right side of the headphones fell off and the supposedly soldered wires completely came off. This product was a complete waste of my money.
