The headset worked fine the first week, but just after two weeks, the wire broke, and I can now only hear the sound out of one side. The microphone still works however, and if I want to get sound out of both sides, I must either hold the wire near my ear, or press the volume control. I took it back, exchanged 3 times for the same product, same problem. I finally got my money back and invested in a par headset. If you want more bang for your buck, and care about the quality and longevity of your headset, invest in a higher end model. The microphone however is excellent. As you can see in the image I added, (in my experience with this model), a piece of duct tape needs to be on the headset just to get sound from both ends.

Cheap-

Pros:
Great Sound Quality
Cons:
Mic loose falls down, Mute Switch becomes loose, NonAdjustable
Describe Yourself:
Value Oriented
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Speakers failed after a few months of owning, Mute switch is loose and goes to the off position all the time. Good if you don't use headsets much and don't carry it around. If you use them every day for gaming invest and get a nice set, they last longer, sound better. The sound was good for sub [$], but fails in quality every where else.

This was my first headset so I was excited. Your ears will get slightly sore from the headphones but it's not a bad feel and you get used to it. BUT the cord that send the sounds through the headphone starts to pull out after less than a month. If you want yours to look ghetto and tape it, then you're fine. For me, I don't like the fact that they let such an import part of the product to stick out and hang there. It's annoying.

I used this for the first month I got this. I was happy that I finally gotten a headset and mic but the microphone started to get loose and I though i was ok but then it got too loose. It still works but after by little sister knocked it off my bed the thing was finally done for. I tried to fix it but the microphone was already [*].
