I merely plugged this into my computer w/XP and began talking on IM. Clear as a bell. I use it to sing and play my guitar and get excellent reproduction. Even used it for YouTube videos! For the price, it's an excellent starter for those learning the basics of computer recording.

When I got this mic, it didn't work, but thas because my mic jack was broken. I got a new computer (Not because of that,) and made some movies. It doesn't dissapoint me at all!

This folds and fits into a notebook case. It gives better sound quality than the mics built into most headsets. There's nothing uncomfortable to wear.

I used this thing for voice acting in my cartoons. This mic is just plain awful; it can't pick up anything, and for the sound to be audible it has to be amplified x17, throwing a whole bunch of static in the mix. Highly unreccomended.

This microphone wouldn't pick up my voice unless I was practically touching the tip with my lips. The gain is unacceptable.
