Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I use it to stream internet radio from PC in one room to stereo in another room. I set the bean next to the receiver and use a Y cable with a pair of of RCA connectors on one end plugged into the CD input and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the other plugged into the bean. Its stationary so I can't speak to using it as advertised. But it works fine in my use. Only downsides are the bean can't operate while its charging and the PC speakers can't operate while the puck is plugged into a USB port. The battery in the bean lasted almost 5 hours.
