I bought this microphone for an online language class. I asked the guy working at RadioShack for a microphone that did only one thing: worked. It didn't, and I want my [$]back.

I bought this mic to use for a video conference, the packaging indicates no need for batteries. So I had to run down to the store to get some batteries. This was important conference so I bought nice lithium batteries. The sound was horrible, audio cut out my presenters had to practically scream into the mic. [...] I left that piece of junk from China on the counter and told the store manager he could have it because I dont want it anymore. I bought that mic in a pinch. its worthless, the packaging cost more than the mic. Save your money, pay a little more and get a better mic, NOT GIGAWARE Brand!

The microphone takes all of 2 seconds to set up, and sounds great, i do alot of phone calls with it, and i get alot of complaints of noises around the house when i'm on it, it's not noise canceling..but the quality is good.

The sound is a little tinny, but works well enough to not have had any complaints.

Claims to work with Mac, but doesn't produce line level output. Batteries are hard to install/remove.
