The looks and the compact design are nice.
However the sound quality is terrible and too low. I also think it is over priced. You can get better speakers for half the price. I would not recommend these speakers to anyone.

Sound is OK...not bad for the money. I was surprised to find that -- although the package is written in multiple languages and bears many countries' flags -- the transformer is 120V only...not 100-240V as is the norm these days. no traveling with this set.

Not very good.
By Gizzele from Bronx, NY on 8/13/2008
Pros:
Easy To Use
Cons:
Poor Sound Quality
Primary use:
Personal
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

If sound quality isn't that important to you then go ahead. The speakers sound very low even on it's highest volume, they're not good enough to enjoy your music.

My old speakers from Dell that came standard with my computer 4 years ago were adequate to listen to music. These cyber acoustic speakers are not appropriate for enjoying music in my opinion.

It all depends on what you are using the small speakers for. If you want to hear alot of heavy Bass Sound, these are not the speakers for that. These speakers are good to add some soft music while you are working at your computer in your office at work. Not for loud explosions and heavy loud sounds on a computer game. And not good for loud heavy bass sound music. They are perfect for Talk Radio and soft to average music on your computer. I have even used the small amplified speakers on my DVD, Ipod, Diskman, walkman, portable radio and they work great as long as the sound source is not too bassy and loud. I don't need that loud bass sound, but some people do. So, like I said, it all depends on what you want. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend, but I would tell them that it depends if they need a loud bass sound or not.

[...]The sound quality is good and they get very loud. Yes if ur phone goes off you might hear a little feedback but thats the only problem I've had. They're easy to hook up also. So far no real complaints.

Not quite good enough...

Pros:
Easy To Use
Cons:
Poor Sound Quality
Primary use:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These probably wouldn't be bad, as long as you don't have wireless internet. When I hooked them up next to my wireless router, there was a constant clicking noise that wouldn't go away. The only way to get it to stop is to shield it from the router somehow, which just wasn't worth the hassle. I also noticed a little interference come through the speakers when I dialed the phone.
