very good for the price.I use it on my computer.I hardly ever listen to my home stereo anymore.The bass is excellent.
This is a completely great buy. I mean 30 BUCKS for something this great. It sounds like something that you would buy for 200 dollars!!! At the lowest level with the speakers it was BLASTING LOUD!!! Everyone should have one of these. Amazing, just plain amazing.

I got these speakers for my laptop, because laptop speakers sound horrible and don't have any bass. When I saw these in the store they looked like low quality speakers, but I bought them anyway.
They sound descent, but there is way too much interference. It is a buzzing sound and I think it is caused by the speaker wire. Too bad the wires are built in so you can't use your own. I tried moving the wires all around in attempt to quell the buzzing, but it made no difference.
I only recommend this product to people that live in the middle of nowhere, because it picks up lots of signals. I will take them back and look for some of better quality.
I played several musical instruments which I am very meticulous about sound quality. Even though it looks cheap, same as any small 2.1 speakers out there. Don't get fooled by its looks, this small wonder has BIG to offer, CRISPNESS!
I compared this one with the larger model with bass control on it(same brand)..it didn't came close..

I bought these speakers for use with my clock radio that does not have great speakers. This provides great sound. However, it does not have a headphone jack which would have been great for listening at night when I want things to be quiet. The power indicator light is VERY bright and I had to cover it with heavy black tape so it would not be so bright in my application.
These are a great set of spekaers for any computer.Good sound quality at a good price. This is the second set I have purchased.
I have bought this speakers twice because they have amazing sound quality although the sub goes out after about a year but for about [$]I don't mind spending some dough.

I HAVE ALWAYS OWNED ALTEC LANSING SPEAKERS - FINALLY A PAIR I OWNED CRAPPED OUT ON ME.
I THOUGHT TO GIVE THESE A TRY FOR THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS AND PRICE. SATELLITE SPEAKERS SOUND BRIGHT AND CRISP BUT DONT HAVE THE CLARITY OF ALTEC LANSING AT HIGHER THEN MODERATE VOLUME.
MOST LIKELY DUE TO THE CHEAPER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. THE SUBWOOFER IS REALLY TO SMALL TO REPRODUCE ANY BASS FREQUENCIES AND SOUNDS TERRIBLE WHEN THE VOLUME IS PAST THE 1/4 MARK.
Just bought them and blown away about how great these speakers are. For 13 dollars I was expecting much worst and they have great sound, and awesome bass. When you get to the higher volume (still not very loud) it sounds a little distorted but other than that it is awesome.

I was REALLY weary one buying this speaker system. I heard them in the store, and they didn't sound too good, but I came back about 30 minutes later and purchased them against my instinct. And honestly, I'm glad I did. They're really not bad. It was easy to set up, and they're great. Sometimes I detect a bit of static, but other than that, it's great quality for such a low price.

The speakers are good, the sound is good. Excellent value. But there's one big problem: it picks up radio interference. In my case it's a station called [...]. This plays in the background of whatever I listen to.

This is a great bargan. The sound system is great. I didn't expect to have such clear sound for such a great price. This is great for someone who wants a good clear sound for less the money. Thank You

I can't believe how good these speakers sound. They are a real hard to find value and great for laptops and desktop use in place of headphones.
I've had them for almost a year and no problems at all.

You could get a different 2.1 system for hundreds more and still not get the impeccable sound quality of these speakers. YOU SHOULD BUY THEM! There is, however a couple cons: 1)At full volume when playing a song with high bass, the subwoofer overmodulates and causes a distorted sound (sometimes at lower volume levels too).2)using both my IBM thinkpad and Dell optiplex, when the computer boots up, they 'pop'. But other than that, they are the best speakers I have ever owned.
Although this product was reasonable and the sound quality is great... it only lasted 65 days before I had to return it to the store for a replacement. The subwoofer became staticky and made the sound terrible. If that problem could be fixed, this is a great product, quality and value wise.

For the price, you can't beat this setup. I teach a music class and they are perfect for playing iTunes through. I even got a set for the laptop. With a little EQ-ing (roll off the bass a bit) they're killer!!!

I was weary of buying speakers for this price for my MP3 player, but they blew me away. I can listen to them in the kitchen or the shower. They're great. Would highly reccommend them.
Wow these speakers are great! I brought them for my 20" LCD TV for enhanced sound, works prefect.Try them.
I bought these as an upgrade for my laptop speakers. They are brilliant for the money! Perfect for listening to music or playing a game. Would be nice to have a control on the sub, but as someone else was saying, if you have an equalizer, you can get them sounding amazing.
These speakers are great. It would be nice if there were controls on the sub woofer. They sound great, even put on a splitter with my other set of speakers. The blue LED is really cool. You can't not buy these with the excellent price. Good if you're looking for a set of speakers with a sub woofer on a budget.
Out of the box, these speakers are a bit tubby and bass-heavy. Tweaking EQ settings or tone controls (if your device has them) helps greatly. These tiny speakers and "subwoofer" take up little space (I like that) and seem to be solidly assembled. Overall, these speakers perform very well for their low price, and are a very good value that I recommend.
