The sound is awsume for the price.
PCs, Loving the sound !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Used this for my new computer witha 7.1 sound card. The speakers sound great at low volumes, but the subwoofer is just way to boomy at low volumes and when you crank it up you get a lot of distortion. If you only listen to music at low volumes then these speakers rock, but if you like to turn your music up and get clean, crisp sound then look at something from Logitech or Creative.
Very nice bass when you hook it to a computer.I Love them Nice sound.

I just upgraded to the CA3554 sytem from the older 3550 model. If anything the new system sounds even better than the older one! The bass is stronger without being boomy, and the mid-upper bass and midrange are cleaner, clearer, and more detailed. I'm still amazed at how these sound - especially considering their modest price!

Overall the speakers are an A+! But the sub woofer chord is too short...

For [$] these are awsome!! Lots of low end and pretty nice highs. Power galore for a computer. I did notice a lack of mid-bass punch, woofer delivers great low bass but-mid bass accurate pop not really great. Mids also are fair at moderate volume but break up a bit at high volume. I am an audiophile at heart, but do not want to spend a ton of$ on computer speakers. These work fine.
i bought this a put it on my golfcart and when im driving i cant the motor very good
I have this system in my Ford F-350. It's hooked up to the DVD player line out and I have the speaker system powered via a DC to AC inverter (100 watt Black and Decker). This easily sends mobile 12v converted to 115V to run the speaker system.
Sounds fantastic in the truck!!! Having a diesel motor, the truck interior is quite noisy anyway,, and I tried the wireless FM transmitters, but when on long road trips, you go into zones that the signal will drop out.. so decided to try a this speaker system and glad I did!!! My kids love it, can now hear it, gives mobile TV/DVD a kick in the butt for sure!
Probably too much bass with this system in a vehicle... I have the bass adjustment set at less than 1/3. Speaker main volume at about 1/2 and the line audio out from the DVD to the speaker system is controlled via remote. Plenty loud enough and awsome impact vibrations/effect.. especially watching the movie Transformers.
Note- I had to remove the satellite speaker(s) feet pads to mount in the truck. I simply used velcro to mount the satellite speakers to the rear window and the subwoofer is hid behind the rear bench seat (yeah, it fits without a shoe horn!!) For smaller vehicles, I'd mount the sub in the trunk or very rear area as it's pretty decent size.
I purchased these while out of town and have been totally pleased with the sound. I use them to listen to music and think that they sound as good as the Klipsch 2.1 system that I paid $200 for. The satellites are quite amazing.

I found this sound system [...], after alot of research I found the AC-3554 speaker system to be the best product for tight and deep bass impact and the sattellites are above average qaulity, they deliver great sound. The subwoofer is a nicely crafted design and the driver is high performance. I would really recomend this to any one looking for qaulity sound and heavey base.
When I first saw this product in the store, I really was not interested in buying it but when the sales clerk tested it out in the store, it has such good sound and the volume and bass was great when my ipod was connected to it. Even though its a bit heavy, I really like it and I have no complaints.
