If you like easy to use mouse this is the mouse you should buy, No software to download plug and play feature makes it the best. USB transmeter gets lock inside mouse and turn it off so you do not loss it. I used it with PC XP and Vista no problem up to now.

I use this mouse all the time. On the go and when at home surfing the net or playing games! It has a VERY long battery life when compared to most other units that I have tried recently. Unlike many reviews, this unit IS Vista compatible (especially when you wait for the computer to auto-install the device), it doesn't have any lag that I've been able to notice, and is small enough to go anywhere [I've even misplaced it once or twice :) ] If having problems loading this unit go through automatic device installation, shouldn't have too big of a problem, took me roughly 2 minutes.

I use this on an Acer Aspire Notebook equipped with Windows Vista Home Premium. I cannot explain why others say it does not work with Vista. It works on virtually any surface (even small ones) and relieves me of the touchpad (which I never liked to begin with). Gigaware has a winner here for the value oriented customer who just plain wants something to work.

Very nice mouse. It's small enough to fit comfortably in my hand without being too small, and works with the usb reciever better than my old mouse. The only complaint I would have is that the stand-by comes on a little too quickly. It feels almost like I have to have the mouse moving all the time, or it'll shut off. Very annoying if you're watching something on the computer. Other than that, it's a better mouse than the one that came with my laptop, and I'd sell it to anyone looking for a good mouse for their laptop.

I had a Targus Stow-and-Go but it died on me after a year and it was rechargeable. This one runs off of 2AAA batteries and they seem to last a long time for the amount of time I spend on my computers. The only downfall is that there is no place on the mouse to store the USB receiver, which was a nice feature with the Stow and Go since I travel so much. This mouse responds well, feels good in my hand and cost less than half the price of the Targus.

As opposed to the previous reviews, I have to say that this product is Vista compatible, as I'm using it on Vista home Premium with no problems at all. I'm guessing the ones that can't get it working didn't follow instructions correctly, but I don't blame them, as the steps are somewhat difficult to understand.

Touchpads are okay but ...
By Matt K from New Hampshire on 5/22/2007

Touchpads are okay but they are tiring when you have a lot to do. Plug a little USB key into the side of your laptop. The mouse talks to it within about two feet. No software to load. The mouse powers down when not in use. The USB key stores inside the mouse. The whole thing is simple, elegant, and very well designed.

This small mouse has very ...
By Brandon L from N Canton, Oh on 4/3/2007

This small mouse has very good tracking for it's size, it performs like a mouse with 1600 dpi even though it is only 1,000. You can barely tell the difference. And having the ability to shut off while it is idle will save you many hours on your battery life. It's lightweight allows you to simply move it around using just your fingers, this mouse is very attractive in design and originality.
