Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I could not find how to calibrate the analog controls with the Logitech drivers and the Z-rotation kept pulling down. Windows XP drivers seem better, but do not allow you to adjust the power of the vibration as the Logitech drivers do. Use XPadder for profile setup. It's much quicker and allow game support even if game does not support gamepads. Other than these, the hardware is great! I don't know who plays 30 feet away, but it works and no interference with my cordless phone.
