My first one lasted 4 months, as did my second. The third one only lasted 4 weeks. It is really too bad because it is easy to set up and use, but the quality is just not there.

I use this to switch between my work laptop and my home PC so I can use my full size keyboard/mouse and LCD when working at home. Works very well. I can play music and check personal email while switching to work easily using the keyboard control. Plan to buy one for work!

worked better than direct connections

I used this 2 port USB KVM switch kit with my wireless keyboard and mouse and one monitor on two computers. One is an old gamer computer with Win98 as its OS and the other is a laptop with XP as its OS. The switch system is easer to use than swapping devices. The cables are included which makes the kit complete but they are only four feet long which means the computers must be almost back to back.

For the sale price, I couldn't lose. I tried it and so far love it (it has been a week). I have more space freed up on my desk and can still play my fps's with no problem. Of course I'm not using the video as my LCD screen has those HDMI ports and don't want to downgrade my video.

Did just what was advertised and worked simply and easily. Wish it included an extra USB for my printer, but still a good product. Like the hotkey option for switching, no software loading required.

A great product so far. I've only had it for a short time but setup was a breeze, it's USB port powered, freeing a plug, works exactly as advertised.

Very easy to use. I have used other switches that were supposed to be plug and play but were not. I really liked the cabling system. Cables were included. Will be buying extras for business use. Only down side was switch time. Sometimes it took 5-10 seconds to switch to the other computer.

After going through 2 units I figured out it doesn't work. My Mac couldn't recognize it's own keyboard on the first one. And the 2nd one wouldn't pass any usb, just video. I thought it was going to be cheap, but after 4 wasted hours including 3 trips and frustration, it was anything but.
