This is great for overcoming the limitations of some new PCs. Many new PCs have disabled the ability of recording streaming music. The USB audio adapter restores this functionality!
Just install the adapter and associates SW, open your favorite recorder, make sure stereo mixer is selected and you have restored the ability to record any audio running through your PC.

got a laptop with a not-responding left- or right- audio channel? buy one of these, then plug in your speakers or headphones, and IMMEDIATELY, you are back to enjoying your music library in stereo instead of hearing everything through only one speaker or thru a single earphone bud.apple said it would be hundreds of dollars to fix this missing channel audio problem in my otherwise-perfect G4 laptop. this product did the job for[$]. NOTE: this thing is impossible to find in any stores (including most radio shacks); my advice would be to go ahead and order it here. if, for some reason, it doesn't solve your problem, you can always exchange it in person at your local radio shack.
