Very compact adapter. No bulky headset- you can use your own earplugs. I own a pair of sony earphones and the sound is perfect via this adapter. The microphone has very good reception. It doesn't need to be close to your mouth.

Product works great! My headphone jack was ripping out of my laptop. And this is perfect!! Cant beat it for the price!!!!! Recommened all the way!

Works great on my ibook g4 with mac os x. The sales associate actually told me not to buy it if I had a mac, but it works great. The best part is that I already have comfortable headphones that I like... this adapter allows me to use those instead of a new headset.

There was a bit of an echo when I first plug it in. It went away after I switched USB ports.
