Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am using this product to connect a pc to a tv that doesnt have a vga connection on it. I wanted to run a direct connection and not run it through a converter. This product uses a 14 pin connection, not all 15 pins. This is a vga not a S-vga connection. Works just as well and will work with any computer connection. Overall a great buy.

I just recieved the product today, the "Cables To Go Ultima 6-Ft. Component Video Cable" and straight from the package there was a missing/broken connection pin on the VGA end of the unit.[...]
