Comments about SIRIUS SIRIUS SL2PK1 Stiletto 2 Portable Satellite Radio:

I bought my Stiletto 100 directly from Sirius. I use it a lot more than I ever thought I would. The ease of recording music directly to the unit is more practible than having to dock to a computer all the time. I listen to it all the time while riding my Harley. With all the different types of music it is perfect for the mood I'm in.
The headphones with built in antenna is neccessary for good reception.

Comments about SIRIUS SIRIUS SL2PK1 Stiletto 2 Portable Satellite Radio:

Every Ipod user that I have shown this to has been blown away. Not only do you get satellite radio, but you can store songs like any other MP3 player. I've heard complaints about reception, but I use it on the train everyday with good reception at least 95% of the time. It also picks up Wifi which leaves no need for an antenna in most homes these days. This is so much better than waiting for the inevitable breakdown of my ipod, like the two I've owned before. The world is so brainwashed by the ipod that they are missing out on a superior product. The programming is great and will only get better with the merger. By the way, the battery is replaceable.

Comments about SIRIUS SIRIUS SL2PK1 Stiletto 2 Portable Satellite Radio:

After the initial learning curve, I've found this device to be much better than anticipated. The service setup was a bit annoying, it would be nice to speak with a person sooner rather than later. However once the process of purchasing service started it was completed in about 5 minutes. The wifi connections work great, an excellent "work" tool. I purchased the vehicle kit and the home kit and very happy so far.

Comments about SIRIUS SIRIUS SL2PK1 Stiletto 2 Portable Satellite Radio:

I had two issues initially with this radio: 1) Wifi radio quality is not acceptable without upgrading account to "Premium Internet Radio" for [$]/month more. 2) Upon upgrading I found that the radio was not provisioned correctly within Sirius. I exchanged the radio and replacement also had the same issue. When talking to Sirius the radios were not noted as Stiletto 2 (SL2) in their system. If they are not provisioned correctly you'll have issues when you try to add Premium Internet to your account. Basically, the issue is that the radio never streams the audio above the basic audio quality. This radio is great for scheduling recordings of your favorite channels. I was able to make over 20 separate schedules with ease. Unfortunately, you can't export any saved recordings or favorites. However, you can upload your MP3's and podcasts. There is also a MicroSD slot for up to 8GB of additional memory.

Not worth it
By Sirius guy from Jackson, WY on 5/19/2008
Pros:
Easy to use, Slim
Cons:
Bad Value, Expensive, Not mac compatable, POOR RECEPTION
Best Uses:
Car receiver
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about SIRIUS SIRIUS SL2PK1 Stiletto 2 Portable Satellite Radio:

I bought this for it's portability and ability to store songs. It is not really Mac compatable. You can't get reception on a clear blue day without the headphones that have the antenna in them (bulky). You certainly can't use it inside unless there is WiFi available. Price is way too much. WiFi is cool when it is avail.
