I USE TO HAVE A COBRA XRS 9985 AND NOW I HAVE THE BELTRONICS. BY FAR THE VECTOR 995 IS SO MUCH BETTER. MANY REVIEWS SAY THAT IT IS THE NEW LONG DISTANCE CHAMPION AND I AGREE. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN ACTUAL GOOD RADAR DETECTOR AND THIS ONE IS AWESOME. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD RADAR DETECTOR

Tip - Get some velcro and mount it that way.
Three times it went off in one day - approx 200 miles. Once it was city police- twice state trooper from 2 to 3 mile distance. Worth the money so far.
