I was stranded in Atlanta this weekend and the AAA people could not locate me. On the screen, it showed the exit I got off on and then I had to use my gps to get my broke down car to the hotel when the AAA had magellan and would not work! I would not trade it for the world! The main feature I love is how the screens drop down and shows the actual exit signs! LOVE IT!

This POF was junk out of the box. Battery charged slowly, and quickly lost charge. screen was slow or non-responsive to touch. Voice kept looping back to starting destination. On line tech support was of no help. Maybe I got a lemon, but this was enough to sour me on buying another Navigon product. [...]replaced it with a Magellan.

POI dont not have alot , you can not place the name of a place and have it find it with out going thought everything does not find malls or a lot of places to eat very poor in thinking of the person who is going to use this , to see what is around a new place that you never been too not worth the money

for a new Nav unit fresh on the market the maps are out dated and only work in big city most small towns only the major roads are there I live in Fla and travel to central fla and did not have most place i was trying to find i was in the biggest county in fla POLK and nothing was listed there very sad about this I would never get another one from them until they make it better from what people can use

It's fun to look at, know where I am.I little time needed to learn sub menus, tho. Two days? The 5100 has maps of USA, Canada, Hawaii. Alaska; They also make Europe map SD card. [...] The 7100 has Blue tooth wireless. (No musuc or telephone,tho...Get a Mp3 players- work fine.)The traffic service is free for life and lists traffic hangups up to 40 miles away, with details if you choose.I definitely feel safer with it. It will Take Me Home at a touch. When I DON'T FOLLOW DIRECTIONS,It RECALCULATES quickly.I will not drive without it.

I got this GPS this holiday season. The GPS is as shown in advertisements. It does do a great 3D reality view, lane assist (shows lanes at junctions and which lane you should be on) on highways and my favourate live traffic update (this feature is free for life). And also it will calculate the route to avoid traffic congestions. I did test it for traffic congestion and it works like a champ, it did got me to highway right after the traffic was cleared.
The only thing i wish was for to have bluetooth compatability. If you do want this you need to get the higher end (7100) model.
I highly recommend for all who live in urban areas who is more prone to traffic situations.

This is the 1st GPS that I've ever purchased. I enjoy the vivid display and how it calculates the fastest route for you. What I loathe about this product is the mount. It is obnoxiously long and bulky. It comes w/a carrying case so that I can detach it and place it in my purse which is awesome! There is a dash mount that I will affix this morning so that I am not annoyed by the rather long mount as much. The voice on here seems low, no matter what you do. I also enjoy the fact that it gives you up to the minute traffic information for a large radius of where you currently are. I live in Baton Rouge, but it warned me about Interstate 10 being closed due to the gas well explosion roughly 45 miles away and about the right lane of Lapalco Blvd on the West Bank of New Orleans being closed which is approximately 85 miles away. How awesome is that!? I bought this item for myself b/c I love gadgets and it is one of my Christmas presents this year. I do recommend this product to anyone who wants an awesome gadget and doesn't mind the minor infractions such as a low voice and an ugly mount that the Navigon has.

[...] I have seen a lot of GPS units, but none that compare to this. Tons of bang for the buck.
