No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The map is incorrect; every trip resulted in wrong directions provided (i.e. directed to drive in the wrong direction on a one way road; failed to recognize when you have arrived at a given location; gave circular route to arrive at a destination; and indicated the destination is on the right when it was actually on the left.)
I am afraid that these egregious navigational errors obscure any noteworthy features (i.e. easy to set up and acquire satellite and large LCD display) of the system.

I USE THIS GPS EVERY DAY @ WORK. HAS MADE MY LIFE A LOT SAFER DURING HEAVY TRAFFIC CONDITIONS. THIS IS THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE MADE FOR MY JOB BY FAR.
