The price is the best thing about this GPS (if it is not an error). Great for a water proof color GPS that can take one gig SD cards. This type of GPS is meant for Fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking and other uses where you do not need directions to an address. Like finding your car - you go into a building after parking, when you come out use this GPS to find your car. The SD card is for saving all your routes and if you have the mapping CD set (and mem card reader you have to get too). Then you can put as much map (details) as will fit on your SD card up to one gigabyte. You can have more than one card with more mapping info. Battery use is 2 AA's or use the car adapter cable. It does have street names and will locate an address but shows a beeline to the target (you figure which streets to take). This GPS also is more accurate then other models because it will recieve WAAS (ground correction signal) plus 24 satellite signals.
