Works great, doesn't slip at all. Other reviews say it doesn't work with TomTom as the TomTom mount isn't adjustable, but it is adjustable, it's just really stiff.

This works really well with my Magellan GPS, no more GPS crashing down from attachment to the windshield on bumpy roads during cold mornings! It is much more stable and secure in the dashmount, does not bounce or shift! Great product.

Well, I am not sure about the other comments saying this would not work for a Tom Tom GPS. I almost did not go buy one, but thought I would go even with the comments and try it out. It works fine, not sure what those users had an issue with but this worked with my Tom Tom ONE. Just what I was looking for so no need in using the windshield for mounting purposes. Glad I did not listen to the other comments.

This thing is great! Windshield mounts suck because they don't stick all that well and you have to remove the mount when not in use or else you will attract thieves.
I use this with my TomTom One all the time and have no problems! I will be buying another one as a gift soon!

This does not work for the Tom Tom GO 730, or other Tom Tom models I would imagine. Another user stated it was false advertising, I would disagree. Though it will not work with the Tom Tom, it is not because of the friction mount itself, it is the Tom Tom winshield mount that is the issue. The angle of arm on the windshield Tom Tom mount is not adjustable, so the Tom Tom, when used with this mount, faces up towards the sky...not in a position that it can be viewed by the driver. So, while it will not work with Tom Toms, Im sure it's fine with other units that have a more versitile mount. Tom Tom is the issue on this one.

My 9 year old son and wife bought this for my Birthday along with several other products purchased at the same time. The sales consultant told them that this would work with the TomTom model I had which is also sold by Radio Shack. I just opened it and it didn't work. I was told by the rep (Serghio) that they should have opened the package and checked and was quite a jerk about it. I will never shop at Radio Shack again.

The GPS beanbag is terrific in keeping my GPS on my dashboard in perfect view. It has never slipped, and my GPS has never fallen. Money very well spent!
