This unit fits my GPS just fine and it's made by a subsidiary. Most does not imply every GPS will fit. Your bad experience is YOURS and ,as with anything, your milage may vary.

The description says "fits most". My GPS is a popular model sold in many retail stores, and this mount did not fit. This one has an oval base which did not match my round mount. [...]. If you have a round mount on your Garmin, do not order this or it will cost you to return a product that has been inaccurately described on the website!!
