This froze up within an hour of operating. I restarted it and it froze within 40 minutes. I used a 2 Gig memory card, so maybe that is the reason, but I think it is just really a cheap frame. I will be taking it back tonight.

I like it, a bit small but ok for the price.

Wow, this is it: the world's worst frame. Thanks Radio Shack for buying out [...] share of digital frames. Th only reason I kept this is because my grandma is half blind. She can't tell its blurry. Terrible quality. What were you guys expecting from a [$] per unit frame? Seriously I will never trust you guys again.
I love mine, i got it for Christmas and it has great pictures, I'm not sure why there are so many complaints , I have had NONE! YES I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Actually I'm buying another one for my mother for mothers DAY! Thanks!

very poor resolution; need an extra memory card if you want to keep using your camera
I bought one and it would freeze on a picture. It started this problem right out of the box. Bought another and after 40mins the screen broke and gave off the smell of a burnt chip. The backlight would stay on but the LCD not working. Two in a row!?[...] What sweat shop did Radio Shack get these from?
For the price, you cannot beat this. The software loaded fine from thier website, and I found it easy to put pictures onto the frame. The quality of picture is what you expect for the price. But for something to just sit around and turn on once inawhile, its good.

This is a easy to use frame with the supplied software. However, the software requires ms netframe, which might pose security issues. The stand attachment to the frame is not solid. Picture quality is good. Removing, the two layers of protective film was difficult. The second layer was suppose to come off with the first layer. I scratched the screen trying to remove the second layer. I gave up and took it to the store, where the layer was removed. However, the employee added even worse scratches.

We got this frame as a gift, and after spending 2 hours getting the pictures ready for it, it didnt load all the pictures and would freeze on a half-loaded picture. Waste of money and time!

The quality of the pictures that show on the screen are less than satisfactory. I bought a new camera that has a 7.1 MP resolution but the pictures show up as fuzzy at best. I would not recommend this to anyone. I shopped early, three days after Thanksgiving, and when I tried to return the frame today, 5 Jan 08, they had nothing better in the store and would only give me a store credit.
I received this for Christmas from my husband who know that I wanted a nice frame for my office. Well he ran out and get me this. Its a Piece of crud... It has NO internal memory and then you have to download the software from the web site to get your pics to fix correctly. To much time spent doing this. there are frames out there that have internal memory and adjust to your setting. You may have to pay more but trust me Its worth it!!!!!!!
The photo frame is too bright- colors wash out. It is also very slow and cannot be controlled manually very well to move forward
All in all, a much better quality photoframe can be found for this price.
Also does not work on a MAC. Opti-pix does not download to Mac (even though I was told that would fix the problem) You must download Findercleaner.
This frame is GARBAGE! First of all the top right corner is coming apart. The wood the they used feels cheap. Most importantly... bad picture quality. Dark pics are too dark, and any picture with light gets so bright you can't even see it. Do not buy this! (And it doesnt matter if you have a 10 mp camera because of the poor quality)
Horrible resolution, pictures don't fit, looks out of focus
Dark, grainy pictures, low resolution, very slow slide show...takes 2 minutes for the next photo to load. I will be exchanging this for a better model. Thank goodness I tested this before giving it as a gift!

The images are displayed too dark. Both contrast and brightness are not too low. Resolution is low. I will be returning this.

I bought two of these for gifts and found them both to be working. I did check before I bought to see what type of memory card it would use and I bought a 1Gb card for [$]......Easy to use...I was a little disappointed it wouldn't take a USB, but if you want all the bells and whistles, then you need to buy a higher end product. I'm very satisfied at this point for the price I paid.

I thought I found a good deal, but after trying this I realize I should spend more money on something that will have an acceptable display. The pics are too dark, resolution is not good, the frame looks very cheap. I'd rather have a regular frame and flip prints myself! :)

I purchased this the weekend after Thanksgiving on sale. For the price, I couldn't beat it. The resolution could be better. However, in doing research on digital frames, it is very comparable to other brands.

Don't waste your time and money on this product. Shop elsewhere. I bought two; one for myself and one for a gift. Thank God I opened the one for myself first to check the quality and if it worked BEFORE I gave the second one as a gift. The first one I opened did not work. I opened the second one to see if it worked and found that it did, but the pictures were either dark, blurry, grainy, or not optimized to fit the screen and the heads of subjects were cut off. Poor workmanship as the seams of the frames had cracks. The software you download to transfer pictures to the camera media is very limited and doesn't allow you to edit pics so you could at least try to resize so they would present better. Again, very poor product. Shop elsewhere. Also, my pictures are coming from 5mp and a 6mp high quality digital cameras....so I wasn't trying to tranfer trash.
I got this as a gift. I found it very simple to load or change. In fact I bought a second as a gift for my elderly Mother. Even she will be able to figure it out. I had recieved one that cost 3 times as much but I needed a PHD to use it.

The resolution was terrible even after downloading the software from SmartParts (which took 4 tries before it would download completely). I tried to return or exchange it but got such a big hassle I ended up keeping it and buying another frame that had better resolution for not much more. I felt bad as my kids had gotten this for me for Mother's Day.
A great product for the money. This model befits a lot from reformatting the .jpg files to the native resolution of the display. This saves the local processor from having to convert large files. When you do so, the ?slideshow? mode works well. Generic 1GB SD cards can be had for ~$15 That is a ton of photos at this resolution.

Got this on sale and I guess you really get what you pay for. Sure its easy, you just put in the memory card and the pictures come up immedietly. But the frame itself looks cheap, and the picture quality was terrible. VERY low resolution and the pictures were dark, regardless of the quality of the camera the pictures were taken with. Shop around, there are better deals out there much more worth your money!

Gave this as a Mothers Day gift. Simple controls, very easy for my mom to use. Resized photos to same size which gave great resolution and picture viewing time. Everyone very happy with product.
Its a good frame. The best I have seen for a low price.
Don't waist your money on this junk. Very poor resolution pictures come out very dark, tried different cards got same results. Will be returning immediately!
After making two trips to the store to pick my up frames (I was told the first time it was not in although my email said it was), I took it home and found that I had to have a memory card to use it. I don't think that the online information is clear about this. My camera's memory card does not fit and I now have to make another 25 mile trip to the store to return the frames.
I recieved one for Mother's Day, I LOVE it! Very good display of my pictures. Family really likes it to!

You get what you pay for, a cheap LCD made in China. Resolution is bad, limited features. There is no set time for the slideshow. The instruction manual just says that it will take between 5 and 20 seconds per picture. It takes all 20 seconds to load pictures taken with a 6MP camera. Do not waste your time or money on this product, you will only be disapointed.
Purchased this with hopes of giving it as a mothers day gift. Worse resolution I have ever seen, screen is dark, no contrast or brightness controls. Pics on SD card are excellent quality, just that this LCD is worse quality.
SMARTPARTS has the worst support I have seen on the web and the do not respond to email questions. The Mac support is also limited and requires technical expertise to get so-so results.
I received this as agift and it broke within 2hrs. No customer service at the manufactures
