No, I would not recommend this to a friend
After owning it 4 mths I was shock to see how bad the pictures were. I tried to return it to the store but it was too late. I called Sony they also told me it was too late. They said I could pay to return it and for $100. they would take a look at it. I wouldn't recommend this camera to anyone.

Comfortable to Operate, Durable, Great Features, Great Picture Quality, Ports right to vista, Simple Controls, Versatile

Poor Sound, Zoom Mic not good
