Great value! For better support, get a ball head with quick release. Using only the screw head on the top of the monopod will force vertical use of the monopod that can lead to camera shakes.

We needed a monopod for gymnastics and basketball pictures and video. This is the best one I have seen for the money. Very sturdy and tall. Others have different features, but at the end of the day, it just needs to be sturdy to hold our Nikon, and it is. Plenty of height adjustments. Did I say sturdy?
