I purchased this tripod to videotape my clients during Presentation Skills Training courses. It is lightweight, easy to setup, and very stable. I use a relatively heavy video camera that other "lightweight tripods" just won?t not support.
On the creative side, there are times when I like to shoot video and stills at peculiar angles. The adjustments of this tripod allow angling of the camera at 66" high without concern that the camera's weight will topple the tripod.
Not a ?vacation? tripod, but close to professional in terms of adjustments and stability.

I do portfolios, as portraits as well. I had tripods that run for the hundres, and guess what? this tripod does the same at a lower price. Great for all kind of pictures and cameras.

I use tripods that run into the hundreds of dollars at work that are heavy and bulky. For personal use however, especially running around a city in a foreign country or carrying camera equipment in public transportation, this tripod is amazingly light, very easy to set up, and has great features if you're not looking to spend too much money.
The bag and handle are great for hauling equipment around fast, light enough that it doesn't bog you down with weight, two useful bubble levelers for that horizontal take, adjustable legs AND feet with its own self-adjusting rubber soles, and lastly, the best feature I think is the hook attached to the middle bar which allows a bit more weight to be added to stabilize the tripod during those windy situations.
Other than the plastic pan head that has a jerky feeling to it while panning, the price is really good for the features. Highly recommended for personal use or for the world traveler.

I'm a just stating to take photography classes and it's a very expensive hobby.The is some accessories you can live without in photography like a tripod.This tripod has everything you need to take great pix and has so many features that you can only find on the really expensive ones!!So far I couldn't find anything wrong with it.Really happy with my purchase especially with the price.
