I bought the reader this summer and used it a few times. A month later it broke and it not worth fixing. Spend the extra $10 elsewhere and get a nice one.

Got one of these on sale. It worked for about 30 seconds and then got so hot the plastic started to MELT. Too hot to handle. Needless to say the computer no longer recognized it. I let it cool off, tried again, same thing happened.
