We wanted this kit for cutting fine 26 gauge wire and smaller and for placing surface mount parts. This is not the kit you want. The tweezers is stamped and does not line up and the sockets are metric. Except for the Pliers and cutters which alligns nicely you can get almost all of the same at in pieces and same quality for less but this is in a kit. For bigger than 26 gauge work and leaded resistors it is worth it to have all in one kit.

this is a great buy because it is easier than a thousand dollars worth of tools

I purchase this because it looked like a good deal, but the edge cutters BROKE the first time I used them. And I don't mean that they came apart, the metal actually fractured. The worst part is that I was testing them on a piece of PAPERBOARD.

Since the rest of the parts are basically useless, just buy a decent screwdriver w/ tips. It'll be better than the miniature one that comes with this kit anyway.

I've been working on computers for about 10 years now and out of all the tools that i have to carry to work, This one is great. Its compact and reliable. Everything that I need its there. Great Product

Great product. I've used it for two years now for computer work and it's always gotten the job done. Whenever I need to do hardware work I always reach for this product. Great product, well worth it, great value. The only small thing is the case isn't the strongest. While it has never broken or cracked or received any major damage over the last two years of being thrown around routinely, the corners have a tendency to pop in, though they can easily be popped out again, thus why it retains the perfect 5 out of 5 score.

This is a great little tool set. It happens to have everything you will need for a basic home repair, except a hammer. The only thing is that the case is a bit weak. It bends when you try to close the case sometimes. Otherwise, it rocks!
