As Kentmh mentioned, worked great in my 2000 Chryler T & C HVAC controls. Bulb is only slightly different but exact same brightness. This bulb also worked for my seat heater/hazard switches, though requires tinting the bulb(like original) or bulb is too bright, which would be better than "burned out". Get a good "pencil" style soldering gun and thin solder and will make this job easier.
I looked high and low for the correct bulbs for my 2005 Avalanche Heater control assembly, the bulbs are the solder in type and not supposed to be serviced. These bulbs are a exact match. they work perfectly.
They are an exact replacement, I changed all 10 of the lights, should be good for another 150,000 miles.
I used these to replace dual climate control dash lights on my Chrysler Town & Country Lxi minivan. Just soldered these in place of burned out bulbs and covered white bases with black heat shrink tubing to prevent light leakage. This repair saved me hundreds of dollars over cost of replacing entire control box, which was the only solution offered by dealer!!!

Worked great in replacing burnt out lamps in my 1999 GM radio. Direct replacement.
Used this to replace bulbs on the HVAC controls for my 02 Silverado. [$] Simply solder this in place of the existing bulb. It is a bit brighter than the OEM bulb, but it's an inexpensive fix!
I needed to find light bulbs for a 1997 Chev. Venture radio. These bulbs work great.
You are right Tim, I also replaced the bulbs that were out in my 2000 GMC radio. A very cheap fix and not that hard to do.
I have been searching for a 12 v/dc bulb for my Tahoe's G.M. radio. the bulbs can not be purchased from G.M.! I tried these in the radio & they work great so for. All g.m. radios of this type will eventually burn out the bulbs then you can't see your controls at night! Yoido need to disassemble the radio face plate desolder & resolder the bulbs in! This fix was a lot better then a $350 replacement radio! There are 10 bulbs replace them all!
