Horrible Price

This is 1100 mcd led you can obtain 20,000 mcd superbright white led for Pennies in bulk say about $12 a hundred so the mark up on this ia about 1000% really makes me leary about radio shack for anything

Price severely marked up. Can easily obtain a bag of 50-100 white LEDs from a wholesaler for about the same price.

[...]This is way too expensive.Also, 3mm LEDs are more useful as most electronic components use them. Most of your household LEDs are 3mm, not 5. 5mm are only useful for hobbies not as replacement parts.

I used 3 of these LED's to create moon light for my saltwater aquarium. They are set up on a timer to come on at night. Thay work fantastic for this application.
