This switch did not hold up as well as the device it replaced in the catalog and soon became inoperative.

I used this switch to replace one in an old 1970s 8-track stereo receiver.The original wouldnt stay pressed in anymore,so I put this one in.This switch is of a different design and lighter than the original,but it installed easily and works reliably.It even looks good.

This is the switch of my dreams. It's push on/push off action is exactly what I wanted. The 3 amp capacity and SPDT contacts helped make it ideal. I've been pushing it on, then off for weeks and it's still going strong. It's so much fun that I've quit my job and just sit here all day pushing on, then pushing off. After several days of continuous pushing, I have found it hard to remember if it's on or off. This switch is a beautiful thing. Maybe I'll hook it up to something someday - but for now I'm content to just push on, push off...
