as a guitarist, I've been looking for a good killswitch for some time now. these being the only ones i crossed, I gave em a try. that was a mistake. the button shafts are 1/16th" hollowed plastic. RadioShack, this purchase has given you a bad name in my eyes. make a killswitch like this with a longer, thicker METAL post, I'll reconsider your products. until then, there are other places I'd rather go.

After having one of these begin to fail I took it apart and saw the bad design. The way in which the circuit is closed is inconsistent and can easily fail.
