I used three (3) of these switches in my car (2003 MITSUBISHI Lancer GLX) to switch separate 12V sources for neon and accessory lighting. I made my selection of this model based on two main features:
1. Their small size and shape
The switches size and shape were a perfect fit for my application. I did not use the removable housing that came with the switches, which allowed me to mount them flush to my car's interior (panel under steering wheel, over accelerator and brake pedals). This also allowed me to install them out-of-sight from the main areas of the car's interior.
2. The red LED that indicates that the switch is ON
The bright red LED's were excellent to alert me that the switch(es) were ON and prevented me from forgetting that the lights were on when I switched off the car (which could have caused my battery to run down)
The switch was easily activated when required.
Installation and termination of electrical cable was easy as well
Overall I am satisfied and would use this model again in the future.

It does not tell you a 1" hole is required to be drilled if you do not want to use the black surround piece.
It does not tell you that you need nylon-female disconnects to connect wires on the back.
Could not get LED light to work
I used this in my car, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and it matched the other dash switches

Took a little while to figures out how I wanted to wire it, but eventually got it perfect
