No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The problem was less in the product and more in the lack of any schematic. How are you to know how to hook it up, if it is not mapped out for you. I hooked it up just as the in store tech told me how, and it made it so nothing worked anymore. I had to undo everything and start over.
Poor product.

Plastic handle very loose feel. Rotates on metal shaft. Sloppy over all look and feel. Very poor finishing on handle.
