A little DOES go a long way

I used it on door hinges in my house, and even on the garage door tracks. I still have over half of it left! No more squeaks. I can see how the tip is not "precision", but it really works for those annoying squeaks around the house. Good stuff!

It IS a precision oiler

Other reviewers said it wasn't a precision oiler, but mine did come with a thin metal applicator. This lubricant contains teflon and adheres well. A little goes a long way.

As Jim from Seattle stated, this is NOT a precision lubrication. At best the can be used on a squeaky cupboard hinge or other non-precision house hold items.

I personally did not know that there was a version of this product that had a metal tip with a small opening but the metal tip would have made me NOT want to use it on precision items.

For what it is worth this item is a step above using a popular brand of spray lubricant but a far cry from precision.

oiler

Pros:
Quality Lubricant
Cons:
Precision tip
Describe Yourself:
Tech Savvy

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

An excellent lubricant with PTFE but hardly
'precision'. There is no needle tip to speak of just
a plastic end (~1.5mm). General Purpose only. NOT
the right tool for watch or camera repair.

Have a computer cooling ...
By Bobvv g from Massachusetts on 5/27/2007

Have a computer cooling fan that's noisy/balky/slow? This "super lubricant" does a great job of solving the the problem. It used to come with a metal point that offered better control, but, still, it's the best product out there.
