I've used this to repair crackling volume knobs on TVs, electric guitars, and clean switches on Atari 2600s. This stuff has never let me down. I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

this product might be ...
By Mike x from n/a on 10/23/2006

this product might be used for slight electronic corrison protection, but it does not clean electronic components well. ie. potentiometers. Used product several times to clean any potentiometer and it does not work. One time, it completely destroyed a potentiometer once. Be advised before purchasing consumers.

This stuff works great to ...
By Jim S from Huntsville, AL on 7/21/2006
Pros:
Easy to use, Good performance, Good Value, Reliable

This stuff works great to clean the "no clean" flux off PCBs. The "no clean" flux found in surface mount solder paste is quite conductive, and must be cleaned off if any high impedance circuitry is on the board -- and it also collects dirt if not cleaned off. Resin flux cleaners will not touch the "no clean" flux, but this stuff removes it completely if you use a soft bristle tooth brush to help things along.
