Anyone who has a bad review for this must have bought the wrong component. Complaining about the length is absurd since you had other options. This is perfect for the AUX port of a car. Also people complain that the ends aren't marked, thats because it doesn't matter which end you use. If you need something longer, just go up to the 3 or 6 ft ones. Nobody should knock this product because they bought the wrong thing.
I read some review that stated the "instuctions" weren't clear and that this cable was confusing and in all reality it is as simple as can be and doesn't come with a manual. One end in your MP3 player or other device the other end in your AUX port it doesn't matter what end you use. Do people need manuals to figure that out??!
The color, beige, matches the area around the aux-in jack at the bottom of the center console, so is perfect. I didn't think these came in a beige. I just bought a white one too. Beige and white could be the wave of the future because some black cables I've seen have a cancer threat warning. The length is also better than the 6 ft one I had, which is bulky. Actually I might prefer a 2 ft length, but 1 ft is better than 3 or 6. When I get in the car it's easier to find the tip on the shorter cord. I might buy another one for a spare, because these cables tend to wear out in about a year, I think the wire inside breaks near the tips, from the inevitable bending.
I bought this one to hook up my portable Sirius Sat. radio the input on the dash of my Sienna. Perfect length!!!
I am using this wire to hook up weather radio and an I-Pod into the Aux jack in my SAAB 9-5. Works well. I wish it had gold plated tips and was in black like the other SAAB guys said!

I purchased this cable to connect my portable music player to the AUX input in my Saab. Aside from the length being ideal for cup-holder stowage, the construction of this cable exceeded my expectations given the low price. The shielding is sufficient for automotive use, and the short length prevents coiled-up loops of wire that can act like antennas to vehicle noise sources. My only complaint is that the terminals are not Gold-plated, and so will contaminate Gold-plated terminals in other devices. Not a big deal unless you're an irrational purist or an expert on metallurgical corrosion.

Perfect for the new model autos which have A "AUX" input audio port. Use your current MP3 player. Need A longer one for A DVD player!(04-2007)

The ends weren't marked so I didn't know which end to use. It was also too long to be used for anything.

The cable is fantastic. I am using it to connect my iPod to a Tivoli SongBook but it would have been great if the connectors both could have been 90? angled.

Being only 12 inches long, this cable is of absolutely no value to anyone. Four to six feet long would be far more practical and useful.

Just what I needed to connect my iPod directly into my car stereo! The 1 foot length is perfect! I love it!
Works great! It does every thing I want it to do!
