The look of quality; POOR in reality

This cable looks like it will guard against too much flexing next to the jack (with metal coil and extra insulation). However, it doesn't extend into the jack and therefore a wire broke off very easily.

One small tug and the 3.5mm pin snapped off! Lasted about 1.25 hours.

I bought this cable for the gold connectors as I truly believe that this makes a difference. I am very pleased with the sound quality. I am using it as an extension to studio monitor headphones for audio mixing. While it is hard to see from the photo, this cable is quite rugged. The ends are extremely solid and the cable is very thick. Once I picked this cable up, I returned a Jensen cable of similar description the very same day. It was flimsy by comparison. Bottom line... this was wise purchase.
