Comments about Garmin® GPSMAP® 62st 2.6" Handheld GPS:

I use the 62st primarily for geocaching, having upgraded from the classic 60csx that my child now is using. I like that Garmin made things easy to set up, as the modes are quite similar. I have noted that it takes less time to lock on to satellites, on average about 15-20 seconds less time than the 60csx. The only quirk that has been frustrating is that when the sides of the 62st are squeezed in your hand, there is an awful squeaking noise.
