Very disappointed in a brand name product such as this. I have to return this product due to the loud noises during operation - both a loud motor noise and a chirping noise. Very distracting noises audible during movie and from across the room. I cannot recommend this product.

Best quality picture I have had from a DVD player. Other reviewers have mentioned the noise level, while it is noticable when you first put a DVD in, you don't notice it during the movie.

This dvd player did not even work out of the box. The dvd tray would not even open. I have no idea if the cd player works or not. Will take it back tomorrow!

I was in RadioShack and the manager and I were looking on the internet site Radio Shack for a divx dvd players. This one said under tech specs that it plays divx dvds. It was on sale and it was what i wanted. [...] I hooked it up and put a divx dvd in it and it would not play. Then I put a orignal dvd in it and it played. So I am asumming that it is defective[...] I also noticed it is noisy as the dvd/player spins the disc. Like it is spinning out of control and then it stops.

I did not set this up...but my Son did...he said it was really easy to set up...going thru the different patters to set up play was very simple...we just Love our machine....GREAT PRODUCT !!!
