Comments about RadioShack PRO-652 Desktop Radio Scanner:

This is a great scanner for picking up digital signals. Has super clear audio. If you don't have some knowledge of modern radio programming I highly recommend spending and extra $50 and get a subscription to Radio Reference and purchase some programming software and cable. I use PSRedit 500, but there are others too. It makes programming so easy and you will probably find frequencies you didn't know about.

This scanner has great reception, however some digital transmissions are still scrambled. Read the instructions even if you are an avid scanner operator some nice features can be easily overlooked.

Comments about RadioShack PRO-652 Desktop Radio Scanner:

GOOD PRODUCT---LOOKS SAME AS GRECOM 400
PROBABLY BUILD BY THEM. I USE EXTERNAL
AMP AND SPEAKER FOR BETTER SOUND. ANTENNA
SUPPPLIED NOT GOOD FOR LONG DISTANCE.
I MADE A HOMEMADE WIFI BEAM FOR BETTER
RECEPTION. EASY TO MAKE WITH SOME WOOD POLE AND
ALUMINUM OR CLOTHES HANGER WIRE. READ MANUAL
SLOWLY TO PROGRAM TRUNKING SYSTEM. YOU WILL'
NEED LOCAL TYPE, CHANNEL NO., AND FREQUENCY
OF TRUNKING SYSTEM. ASK LOCAL AUTHORITIES OR
          CHECK LISTINGS ON INTERNET.
