      Works great for what it was designed for, see descriptions above. It was never designed for charging your battery starter as suggested by the previous reviewer. Purchase the tool that's designed for the job that you are attempting to do. This unit puts out 5.8 amps.

            This same unit is sold for double the amount on "discount" websites. Works great for the Winegard 1518 Carryout portable satellite antenna. Plug in your satellite to AC rather than DC on your car, truck, van. Works like a charm.
