Cons Best Uses Comments about AUVIO™ HDMI® In-Line Extender: I used a cable box with HDMI output to drive 50-ft HDMI cable to my HDMI TV. The TV image keeps flick every 10 sec. Some times the communication was totally lost. I cannot change the cable since it all ready put in wall. I got this extender from RS to try. It is built in high quality at very reasonable price. I put it at TV side and it started to work right way without external power supply. It powered by HDMI cable. Now the image is as stable as 6 FT-cable used. I am so happy!!!

Best Uses Comments about AUVIO™ HDMI® In-Line Extender: I connected this and worked fine on Comcast signal (which is poor anyway) and then when I hook up any other source such as dvd player, WII or appletv, the signal stops working every 60 seconds, flashes and works for 60 seconds. It was horrible trying to find the cause of this problem because comcast was the only device that would work. Then I connected devices one by one and figured it out. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about AUVIO™ HDMI® In-Line Extender: I have a computer that I need to connect to a TV thru a 25 foot in-wall HDMI cable. I get no picture with the stand alone cable. I 1st tried a voltage injector from Cables To Go. It didn't do anything so I tried a non- powered HDMI repeater from Mono-Price, still no luck. I picked 1 of these up at Radio Shack knowing that I can return it if it doesn't work. I hooked it up at the TV end and it worked beautifully.

Cons Best Uses Comments about AUVIO™ HDMI® In-Line Extender: I used this to connect my Apple TV and my cable box to my TV, which only has one HDMI portal. Worked great and brainless set-up. My only complaint is that the remote is so small it is easy to lose -- you can switch manually on the box, however. 4 stars instead of 5 because I found it annoying to use yet another remote to change the TV inputs.
