Does the job Uses Pioneer universal remote codes. Bulky transformer will work with Radioshack dial type rotator systems. Uses potmetal housing instead of plastic like radioshack uses. Radioshack brand is phasing out. Unit gets out of sync easily. It is best to buy an additional indoor remote system for backup.

I was worried about how long the motor would last until the unit had to be replaced. We have operated this for three years in all kind of weather and have had no problem.

i bought this exact unit from professional antenna signal place at a professional company.they tell me they have had troubles with these units.test it before you put it up.does not work.have been calling company they blew me off.channelmaster has basically blew me off.have some other customer servicerep calling me probably tomorrow.would have been better off buying it from radio shack.i would not reccommend this unit from anyone.stick with radio shack brand...unhappy cunsumer. This unit was easy to setup, wire, and calibrate by the book with the easy to use buttons on the front of the control box. this is not a con but the control box uses compass readings instead of having the markings of north, south, east, and west. The book gives you the four main compass readings. For the wiring I bought the 3 wire 100' roll there is one tin colored wire that goes on number 1 the center wire goes on number 2 and the last wire on 3 in the controller and rotator. Set it up the way the book says and you will be happy. One thing I would not do according to the
book is the preset positions you put in the controller with the remote because if you want to delete one setting it will delete them all.

I installed channel master roators for years .This is the best one yet,small remote,controler ,fast rotation ,acurate.You can put in a location on the remote , that you tuned in to memory and it goes to that location every time. I INSTALL THESE EVERY DAY. I KNOW .
