I'm a frequent traveler and I had this converter for four years and it works like magic. I used it recently on a trip to Turkey and worked like a charm with my hair dryer, cellphone charge, video charge, DSi charge, and other equipment that only takes 110V. I purchased it originally for a breathing machine for my son on a trip overseas and thank God I had it, because I used it at that trip at least 3 times. So it was worth every penny. Since then, I have taken it everywhere I go. It is a great investment if you are a frequent or not so frequent traveler. It is excellent in keeping the electronics in top shape.

Recently in Europe for 1 month. Tried this product in 7 different hotels & it did not work. Plus it is so heavy I would have to find objects to pile underneath to insure that it stayed plugged in. I realize the fault may be in this one item but because of the length of time I was gone the 30 day return policy ran out & I am stuck with a [$] worthless product.

was always charged. I have travelled Europe and Australia
and New Zealand for years. It works awesome.

I bought this for a trip to Italy, and it worked great. It is fairly heavy, but feels well-built (compared to others I have tried in the past, which felt flimsy and were very light-weight). I used it to charge camera battery pack and cell phones, and also used it for my hair straightener, without any problems. This was the highest wattage converter I found, so it should work with anything.
