Comments about Enercell® 3.6V/830mAh Ni-MH Cordless Battery for Panasonic®: These Enercrash batteries are total garbage. My first purchase was two large 6-volt lantern batteries. They felt extremely light compared to the old Durxxell ones that lasted for years. They went flat in 4 hours use in my lantern; the duraxxcells lasted for days of all night running. I then tried four rechargeable AA batteries...garbage. I bought this battery only 4 months ago (Oct 2011) and it will no longer hold a charge more than a few hours off the base and it fails/dies when making a call unless it was just removed from the charger. I can talk about 15-20 minutes before it cuts out. I have tried draining it down to .5 volts and recharging. That got it going so it would last a couple days idle but a couple weeks later it died. Therefore, that is three instances of experience with these new Enercells and that is enough for me. Why Radio Shack would put their name on these or even have them on their shelves is beyond understanding. It sure doesn't help their reputation. My advice is to stay Away from these batteries

Best Uses Comments about Enercell® 3.6V/830mAh Ni-MH Cordless Battery for Panasonic®: Bought this battery for seven times its current price on 12/27/11. Lasted until 1/9/12. Glad I didn't throw away the receipt and packaging. Looked up battery for customer reviews and learned that I should have just purchased another phone system. Can't wait to see what type of problem I will run into when I take this dud back for a refund.

Comments about Enercell® 3.6V/830mAh Ni-MH Cordless Battery for Panasonic®: worst battery+ brand iv ever owend dont waste your money on this cheap piece of junk!the other reviewer said his lasted 7 months, hell i only got 3 months from mine & i dont even use speaker phone. if i get a phonecall while phone is off the base i cant even answer it because it dies right away when i push the talk button. my 7yr old original panasonic battery lasts longer, thank god i didnt throw them away yet coz im gonna have to put em back in phones until i find a replacment for this piece of junk!! Now its on sale for [$] your better off throwing your [$] on the ground & walking away than being frustrated with the junk radio shack is selling. this product doesnt even deserve 1 star. i will never ever buy another enercell brand product. These batterys are not defective they are just plain junk. save your hard earned $ and choose a different brand.

Comments about Enercell® 3.6V/830mAh Ni-MH Cordless Battery for Panasonic®: If you charge your battery like an idiot, its not going to last no matter who you are or where the battery came from! The Enercell brand is the same brand that RadioShack used to carry, they only changed the label, buying a defective battery does NOT mean that the brand or the battery is bad overall, only defective brains for the buyers and the people who leave the phone on the charger 24/7 or put the phone right back on the charger without running the battery down (this corrodes all batteries!)
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Enercell® 3.6V/830mAh Ni-MH Cordless Battery for Panasonic®: My original Panasonic battery lasted 5 years & 1 month and this one lasted 7 months! It's fine till I hit speaker phone and then it kills the call (this is even with all battery bars showing) - if I charge it again it will work for a short time on speaker phone so it's like it can't handle the extra current drain.

Best Uses Comments about Enercell® 3.6V/830mAh Ni-MH Cordless Battery for Panasonic®: I'v been purchasing my phone batteries at the Shack for 16yrs and this is the first time I'v tried this brand "enercell" and I wrote/write the date of purchase & installed on the back of the box and I usualy get 3-4 yrs before the battery can't hold a charge. I'v had this batery for 11 months and my phone is dying out in a short amount of time, about 3 days w/ very little use.
